Using calibrated moisture meters and thermal imaging cameras, we inspect behind the surfaces. Combined with our experienced perspective, we can offer you a comprehensive understanding of what lies beyond a coat of paint.

INVASIVE INSPECTION

At a cost discussed before we proceed. Depending on what is found, we could include this in any remedial work.

REMEDIAL/PROJECT WORK

Any non-consented work (Schedule 1 of the Building Act) performed by the homeowner or contractor can be inspected if you feel you need independent verification.

REGULAR/ANNUAL INSPECTION

Inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate, and maintain property integrity. An Estimation of future costs can be added to this. Priced at $395.00 plus GST with annual checks at $195.00 plus GST. Multi-level homes may require additional costs due to access and elevation issues. Think of this as your WOF for your home.

LBP SUPERVISION

With the demand for extra housing and spiraling costs of construction, we can add our LBP Carpentry service to supervise and issue a Record of work to the Local Authority, Insurance company, and mortgage providers.
This is at a cost hourly at $120.00 plus GST. It is based on DIY home projects or non-LBP builders who need to sign off. We need to be in at the planning stage and through construction to ensure we see all the items before they are covered, and then be able to issue a record of work.
